Margarito “Jay” Flores Jr.
Founder & CEO | Kingpin to Educator, LLC
Margarito “Jay” Flores Jr., along with his twin brother Pedro, once operated one of the largest drug trafficking networks in U.S. history, responsible for the importation and distribution of billions of dollars in narcotics across the United States and Canada. At the height of their operation, the Flores twins were directly connected to the world’s most powerful drug traffickers, including Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, and other senior members of the Sinaloa Cartel.
In a historic turning point, Jay voluntarily surrendered and cooperated with U.S. authorities, providing critical intelligence that contributed to the prosecution of high-ranking cartel leaders and reshaped international drug enforcement efforts.
Today, Jay is one of the only former high-level traffickers in America openly educating and training law enforcement. His firsthand expertise in American drug distribution and Mexican cartel operations is unmatched, offering rare insight into logistics, money movement, transportation, and criminal organizational structure.
Jay has delivered keynote presentations and training sessions for federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, as well as financial institutions, universities, and corporate audiences seeking to understand leadership, corruption, organizational psychology, and decision-making under pressure. His message of transformation and redemption bridges real-world experience with lessons in leadership, ethics, and resilience.
He has collaborated with a U.S. Congressional committee focused on Mexican cartel activity and has presented to more than 10,000 law enforcement officers nationwide. Jay has been featured on Fox News, NewsNation, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and Milenio News.
In addition to his educational work, Jay serves as a film and television consultant, providing authentic guidance on drug trafficking, cartel operations, and criminal enterprise storytelling for major media and entertainment productions.
